Awesome Human Carlene Duffy

In this COVID 19 special edition of Awesome Humans, we are interviewing some awesome guests from our home studio on the Gold Coast. Host, Brett McCallum sat down with 2014 Block star and Ready, Set, Reno host Carlene Duffy.

Carlene alongside her husband Michael competed in the Block 2014 series Glasshouse. Despite being the fan favourites for the season Carlene and her husband Michael did not win the season. Today, having put all that behind them Carlene and her husband are now hosting on 9life’s Ready, Set, Reno while also working on their home design company, Cedar + Suede.

Carlene’s story shares a glimpse into her private life before the Block. Having grown up in Brisbane, Queensland and having gone to school there, she had a different passion as she started a degree in drama education after high school. Carlene shares her story on her Block experience, her career success after the Block, and what life is like now having been on Australians most popular reno show.
