The Media8 team were joined today by none other than awesome human Eleanor Carey. Eleanor is an Australian adventurer, speaker and writer. She holds not one, but two world records and is the first ever Australian female to row the Pacific Ocean. This female pioneer modestly describes herself as a young pale, ginger woman of barely passible fitness who cries at the drop of a hat.
Eleanor strongly believes in the mantra that an ordinary person who chooses to can indeed become capable of extraordinary things; a mantra that she has clearly demonstrated throughout her life and career.
Eleanor speaks about her inspiration to travel vast distances, her change of career path from a physio therapist to a world traveler and Guinness world record holder, as well as her journey to openly becoming a member of the LGBTQIA community.
